September 27, 2009 – Capt. Gridiron
Get ready to hear about this one all week. With time winding down, Brett Favre launched a pass to the end zone that Greg Lewis hauled in with an incredible catch to beat the 49ers:
Here’s the play from every angle:

Favre’s pass was baloney!! The ball, including its spin, velocity, projectile, and final target, was remote-controlled by a fan – he wore a red striped shirt and sat in the seven row up in the lower deck on the 15 yard line – in the stands. Favre had nothing to do with it but only to get the ball in the air. The rest was accomplished robotically. Done with a kind of WiFi operation-device implanted inside the football itself.
