Continue to win close games late. It will bite them at some point. Play a red hot Titans team this week.

This team impresses week in and week out. Brett may be having his best year ever, and the defense leads the league in sacks.

New England Patriots

Rocked by the Saints on Monday night, but still a step ahead of the rest.

Dallas Cowboys

Rolled over the Raiders. Can they avoid their usual December let down?

Cincinnati Bengals

Lost to the Raiders then struggled against the Browns. They must get the passing attack going to make a deep run.

San Diego Chargers

Really playing well right now. Have won their last 15 games in December.

Philadelphia Eagles

Struggled against a weak Redskins team, now they play a tough Falcons squad. They need D. Jackson healthy.

Green Bay Packers

Thursday win over the lowly Lions, now a nice long break to prepare for the Ravens on Monday night.

Denver Broncos

Got a much needed win over the Giants. Now they a get a recently improved Chiefs squad.

Arizona Cardinals

Lost a heart breaker to the Titans. It certainly doesn’t get easier this week when the Vikings come to town.

Atlanta Falcons

Chris Redman looked great. Can this team survive the injury bug to stay in the playoff hunt?

Pittsburgh Steelers

The division is all but lost. Must get right quickly before the playoffs pass them by as well.

Jacksonville Jaguars

A bad loss against the 49ers. In the middle of a large pack hunting for a playoff spot.

New York Giants

Do or die time for the Giants. Need to sweep the division the next three weeks. It starts at home with the Cowboys.

Tennessee Titans

From 0-6 to 5-6. Can they beat the Colts and get back in the playoff picture?

Baltimore Ravens

Beat the Big Benless Steelers to keep playoff hopes alive. Need a big win on Monday night in Green Bay.

Houston Texans

Can’t find a way to get past the Colts. With the Jaguars, Seahawks, Rams and Dolphins, this team can make a run.

Miami Dolphins

A disappointing 4th quarter let down in Buffalo. 24 unanswered 4th quarter points…to the Bills?!

San Fransisco 49ers

Nice win over a good Jaguars team. Only 2 games back of the Cardinals for the division lead.

First team on the rankings I will consider out of the playoffs. Are they out? No, but I think all teams ahead of them are better.

Buffalo Bills

24 point outburst in the 4th quarter came out of no where. We won’t see them score 24 points in another game this year.

Seattle Seahawks

Only have one game all year within 10 points. Win big or lose big.

Latest victim of the Vikings. Lovie, get that resume on Monster.

Carolina Panthers

Please give me someone other than Jake under center.

Kansas City Chiefs

Could really see the difference in talent levels between the Chargers and Chiefs all over the field.

Washington Redskins

Will probably be lower after the Saints run through them Sunday.

Gradkowski didn’t look near as good this week.

Detroit Lions

I project no more wins this season.

Whipped up on by the Seahawks. We will start talking draft next week.

Josh Freeman is fun to watch. They will win a couple more games this season.

My bet is this team doesn’t score more than 10 points in another game this year.

What? You couldn’t put more than one sentence worth of effort into your reasoning for ranking these teams?

If you actually want people to read what you write, maybe you should write something worth reading.

Maybe i’m just lazy, but personally I like that there is only one or two sentences per team. I’d hate to read a novel on a post like this. Good job on the rankings themselves tho docs.
