Brandon Marshall traded to Miami Dolphins

The Drama in Denver is over. Another troubled receiver is heading to the AFC East.
Disgruntled wide receiver Brandon Marshall signed a $2.521 million tender from the Broncos on Tuesday which opened up the chance for Denver to finally trade the troubled wideout.
In 2009, Marshall posted his third consecutive 100-catch season, but he never got along with new coach Josh McDaniels. This includes the now famous video (see below) of Marshall acting like a child in camp last year when he was having contract issues.
Marshall has been traded to the Miami Dolphins for a second-round pick that the Broncos will use next Friday in the NFL Draft and another draft pick in 2011.
With the Broncos, Marshall posted three consecutive 100-catch seasons, two consecutive Pro Bowls, but also several distracting disturbances both on- and off-the field _ and no playoff appearances
The trade to Miami was surprising because Dolphins coach Tony Sparano had said he didn’t think Marshall would be a good fit for his team. However, Bill Parcells has final say on Dolphins personnel and Parcells has never been afraid of working with controversial-but-talented receivers….[via]
That 2011 pick turns out to be another second-round pick, according to Sports Illustrated. Originally, Denver was seeking a first-round pick as compensation for Marshall. The Seattle Seahawks flew Marshall in for a workout but did not feel like giving up one of their first round picks.
Few other teams seemed to desire parting with their draft picks to sign Marshall. Marshall will be a solid addition to the Dolphins team which is in dire need of a playmaking receiver but giving up 2 second-round picks is huge. In comparison, the Steelers unloaded Santonio Holmes for a fifth-round pick and the Ravens landed Anquan Boldin for a third-rounder.

As I Denver Bronco I hated to see Marshall go he was our best receiver but what else was there to do. Receivers come and go remember Jevon Walker?

This was the best thing the Broncos could do. I have a hard time understanding players demanding trades and such. Is player for a NFL team so bad you have to be traded?
