Tim Tebow Scores First TD : The Joy Of Six
Well, that didn’t take long.
Tim Tebow stepped behind center late into the game on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals and flashed his Gator scrambling skills. Tebow finished 8-of-13 for 105 yards but it was his 10-yard rush for a TD with time expiring that helped extend Tebow Fever for another week.
Earlier in the game the Bengals picked up an apparent fumble by Tebow and ran it back for a TD. The officials ruled the ball an incomplete pass upon review.
In a move reminiscent of his days at the University of Florida, the rookie QB ran in a 7-yard TD as time expired to punctuate a 33-24 loss at the Cincinnati Bengals.
