Fantastic One Handed Catch
Julio Jones of the Alabama Crimson Tide makes one of the best catches of the week with this one handed grab for a touchdown against San Jose State. Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram and defensive end Marcell Dareus were not able for the game but it didn’t matter. The Tide put on a thumping that saw many of the starters take to the bench early.
Julio Jones made this dramatic play for a 29-yard touchdown from backup quarterback A.J. McCarron early in the second quarter. He finished with six catches for 93 yards.
The Tide easily rolled over SJSU with a 48-3 victory on their road to repeat as National Champs. Although the competition was mild this week the Tide will have a tough challenge in week 2 as they host #19 Penn State.
