Mike Singletary, RatGate and that Dadgum Yahoo Commercial

The 49ers are in a bit of flux right now after they failed to show up for their first game of the season and not many in San Fran are happy with their performance. There was a story by Yahoo! Sports’ Jason Cole which highlighted the rumors that the 49ers are having communication issues, primarily with offensive coordinator Jimmy Raye.

When Singletary heard about the article he was upset and claimed that the organization had a ‘rat’ in their ranks that was leaking information.

When Dennis O’Donnell of San Francisco’s CBS 5 had a chance to sit down and talk with Mike Singletary about the issue it didn’t quite go as planned.  Big Mike didn’t want to talk about the situation anymore and let O’Donnell know as much.

Is it too early to push the panic button in S.F.?
