Ndamukong SuhDetroit Lions Ndamukong Suh is a beast on the defensive line. Too bad the Lions cannot capitalize on their close games (they’ve lost 6 games by 7 points or less) to put Suh on primetime more so people can watch his excellent play.

Suh was flagged for unnecessary roughness for this forearm hit to the back of Cutler’s head. The hit looks pretty rough as you see Cutler fly to the ground but if you watch the replay you’ll see that Suh may have missed Cutler’s head and just pushed him down with a shot to the back.

Are you stupid? Suh’s right hand strikes the back of Cutler’s head. It was no mere push. Suh’s intent was to hurt the QB. JUST PUSH? Are you kidding me???

@Jerome, You’re allowed to hit a runner in the head. Once the QB crosses the line of scrimamge the head is fair game. It is only the QB behind the line and defenseless receivers who are protected.

See the attached video, the league ruled that Harrison couldn’t be fined for the hit because Cribbs was a runner, even though he was the QB on the play and behind the line of scrimmage. The league is contradicting themselves on this.

@Jerome, I have a feeling that your inability to comprehend what you are seeing is an indication that the only football you ever played was in a video game. You are convinced Suh is a dirty player because your vapid little brain read that opinion published by some journalist looking for some sensationalism to sell papers. Suh is aggressive and freakishly strong even when compared to other NFL players but he is not dirty. The modern day NFL “protects” quarterbacks as if they had vaginas in order to prolong the careers of athletes who sell a lot of tickets. The referee – without the benefit of slow motion replay- perceived a punch/blow to the back of the head. The reality is that Suh slapped his hands on Cuntler’s back NOT HEAD and pushed/slammed him violently to the ground. I regret if you are offended and horrified as you seem to be. That is what Suh is paid to do. Maybe I could hold your purse while you slap on some vagasil and turn on the knitting channel. Football is a violent game played by violent men. Stop watching it and go write in your journal. BITCH.

You can clearly see Suh’s hands on the back of Cutler’s head.

This was nuts — I’ve seen worse shoves while playing 2-handed touch in gym class!

Suh clearly was sending a forearm shiv. He’s lucky it didn’t land fully or he’d be suspended. Suh needs to get rid of his ghetto gang-banging mentality. He’s quickly developing a rep of being a dirty player and the yellow flags will start flying more often. Being tough is one thing. Being stupid is entirely different and Suh is suffering from a serious case of stupidity.
