Bradford and the 83-yard Opening Play TD
The St. Louis Rams must be feeling good about their decision to grab Sam Bradford with last year’s #1 pick. Despite fears of injuries and the lack of size, Bradford had a stellar rookie season for a very bad team. He took them from one win to 7 and is only helping his cause as a future elite QB with plays like this.
The opening play of the game against the Tennessee Titans saw Bradford stretch the field and catch the Titans flat-footed with a fantastic 83-yard TD pass to Brandon Gibson who is so wide open that he almost falls over trying not to get too excited.
Shortly after that play Bradford had a bit of bad luck as one of his passes gets intercepted. It’s actually on the receiver as Mike Simms-Walker flubs a pass which then turns into a tip drill. The ball bounces around in the air before coming down in the hands of the Titans Alterraun Verner.
