The Tim Tebow Venn Diagram

December 14, 2011 – Capt. Gridiron

Tim Tebow makes no apology for his faith. For some, that’s a motivation while for others it is a distraction. Considering how serious we take football and that we devote our Sundays to praying and worshiping ‘our team,’ it really shouldn’t come as a shock that Tebow is religious.

In Denver, a city I once lived in and can attest to their fanatical devotion to players like QB John Elway, the acceptance of Tim Tebow has slowly taken over many fans. Denver used to love John Elway and treat him like the most important man in town. I even remember during Halloween there would be news reports on the candy the Elway household gave out. To say it was a bit obsessive is an understatement.

To help clear things up, we created this Tim Tebow Venn Diagram which shows the meeting of two key components in creating the celebrity that is Tebow. Click on the image below to enlarge.
