Eli Manning’s postgame interview after the Giants upset the San Francisco 49ers include a clip of the younger Manning using the phrase ‘You Know’ 29 times in the two-minute interview. Just three more and he would match the 32 completions he had during the game.

Reporting for ESPN Espanol, a reporter interviews Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski in the locker room after their huge win over the Ravens that propelled New England to the Super Bowl.

Gronk went to Arizona State so you might think Big Gronk might have picked up some Spanish in his time there. Instead it seems he’s not much better than I am when it comes to the language.

The reporter talks to Gronk who does his best to interject some of the 16 Spanish words he knows into the interview.

“Stop it, be an analyst not a douchebag.”

Terrell Suggs just earned a huge notch in my respect belt for calling out Tim Tebow lover Skip Bayless on ESPN.

I personally gave up on watching ESPN when games are not playing because they have turned into a Fox News version of sports and have lost a lot of integrity. Skip Bayless, the biggest troll in media,  is one huge reason why and it’s great to see clips like this pop up.

To keep things going on ESPN, Bayless turned to trolling kickers and blamed the NFL games for degrading themselves for keeping the position in the game. Yes, Skip wants to ban field goal kickers. I guess it beats his last attempt to rile up the crowd by banning centers and just requiring the ref to drop the ball on the field.

Tweeting at @RealSkipBayless, he wrote: “Honestly, I felt sorry for Suggs/Ray/EReed. Fought guts out, lost b/c a nonplayer missed easy kick. WHY I HATE FG KICKING. Ban it!”

Vikings kicker Chris Kluwe took the time to address the situation and call out Bayless for his obvious attempts to boost his own TV ratings. [via Fox Sports]

Kluwe, at @ChrisWarcraft, tweeted: “I know what we should ban! Uninformed opinions from (expletive) e-thugs who tear people down to try to generate ratings!”

Kluwe followed shortly after with: “Hey (expletive). Let’s not forget you haven’t done a single athletic thing in your life. Go french kiss a flamethrower.”

Kluwe: Now it’s just blatantly obvious that @RealSkipBayless is trolling. C’mon man. At least TRY to be subtle. #thatwouldrequireintelligence”

And then this: “I mean, how much (expletive) do you have to gargle to be that bad at your job @RealSkipBayless? #thatshowyoutrollsomeone, #icandothisallday”

The last time the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions matched up there was a bit of a pileup on Packers QB Aaron Rodgers. Lions defensive stud Kyle Vanden Bosch hit Rodgers with a possible helmet-to-helmet hit on the chin.

On the radio Rodgers went out and talked about the meeting with Vanden Bosch including a nice imitation of the bald guy.

So the question went out to Vanden Bosch about what happened. Turned out that Kyle had a very similar view of the situation but with one exception. It wasn’t a hit on the chin. Everything else, oddly, was pretty much spot on!

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has a favorite word…it’s “football.” Watch the coach say “football” 9 times in 30 seconds.

When nutty movie actor Mickey Rourke of Iron Man 2 fame calls you a train wreck with balls, I don’t think that is a complement.

Maybe it is, who knows with Rourke. That dude is a little out there but he seems to have a fondness for Sexy Rex Grossman, the guy known for just chucking it downfield at random times.

Rourke states that Sexy Rexy gives the Redskins the best chance to win. With Beck under center, the Redskins have no chance. I wonder how he felt about McNabb?

And technically, Rex Grossman has been to the Super Bowl. He didn’t win, but he got there.

“Is my favorite quarterback playing or not?” he asked of Grossman. “I love him. Mr. Unpredictable. He can be terribly unpredictable, but that’s why I like him. He’s a trainwreck with balls, really.”

The Carolina Panthers played the improving Minnesota Vikings hard and should have come out of the game with a win. However, their field goal kicker missed at the last minute and Minny went home with a 24-21 win instead of fighting it out in OT.

Cam Newton was great as usual and his receiver Steve Smith is having a brilliant year after being relatively unproductive the last few years. Smith leads the NFL in receiving yardage with 919 yards.

The close game did have a moment of controversy, at least according to Smith. A late third down run by Newton was negated by an apparent hold by Steve Smith, one of several that seemed to go Smith’s way. This resulted in the next play being the game-tying field goal attempt, which Olindo Mare missed.

[via SB Nation] After the games, Smith had some not so nice criticism. Under the veil of accepting any official’s decision, Smith decided to call the official who made the call incompetent in the most respectful way he could. Video after the jump.

Apparently, Smith is dissatisfied with the advanced age and physical fitness of the official who called holding on him. But, Smith says the gimping 70-year-old man must have got the call right, because he’s the official. See guys, no criticizing the refs here!

Just a few weeks ago former Hulk Hogan made news his little stint when discussing the future of Tim Tebow as the Denver Broncos starter. Dressed out in a Tebow #15 jersey, Hogan went into his classic WWE rant and trash talked the Tebus.

Macho Man would be proud. RIP, big guy.

So fast forward to this Sunday when the Tebus got his first start and in a fantastic game brought back his team from 15 points down in the last few minutes of the game to win. Of course, he sucked for 3.5 quarters and it was against the Dolphins, who barely count as a Division II school right now.

But it counts in the records books and Tebow fans around the world and up in arms at the great game.

Proving that he has his finger on the pulse of the nation, CBS Sports announcer Greg Gumbel just found out about the Hogan/Tebow rift.  Right after discussing the issue of whether or not the league should have switched over from leather helmets to that new think called plastic, Gumbel grabbed a handful of Werther’s Original’s and had this comment:

The wheels on the Philly All-Star bus are coming off as the Eagles are 1-4 and have slowly been self-destructing over the last few weeks. Vick has been noticeably more angry and several players have been less than happy.

After another loss, this time to the Bills, you can see the frurstration builind on WR Jeremy Maclin’s face. Reporters are hounding him and he doesn’t enjoy their silly questions.

Erin went on live television and dropped the dreaded ‘f’ bomb when reading her Twitter timeline about the Seattle Seahawks. No big deal, it’s just what was on her feed and if Jaws can swear on TV, why not her?

Of course this lady is stacked with a couple of great assets on her chest so I say we let her cuss all she wants.
