The big day is upon us and that means one thing. No, not the Super Bowl and the final score. But who had the best Super Bowl commercial!

‘Avengers’ Teaser
10-second peek at the Game Day spot for “Marvel’s The Avengers.” Clocking in at 10 seconds isn’t going to do it for me. There’s really not much to see here. Hopefully, they will be popping out a longer version during the game.
Audi ‘Vampire Party’ Ad
See the new Audi 2012 Super Bowl commercial and find out what happens when an Audi S7 shows up at a party full of vampires.
Coca-Cola ‘Catch’ Ad

30,000 Legos Create Lucas Oil Stadium

If you build it, they will come.
Lego fan and Colt fan Brian Alano ponied up some of his hard earned money to help create a LEGO replica of Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts and Super Bowl XVLI. Over 30,000 of the little plastic toys were gathered to create the five-foot square tribute that is currently being showcased in honor of the Super Bowl.
[via INDYSTAR.com] When he heard Lucas Oil Stadium was on the drawing board to be built in Downtown Indianapolis, Brian Alano posed the idea of constructing a LEGO replica of the Colts’ new home to his wife, Becky.“I didn’t have any clue about the scope of how big it would be,” said Becky, 46.
“I asked her if I could build it,” said Brian, a 44-year-old engineer from Bloomington, Ind. “Lucky for me, she didn’t ask me very many questions.”
Like how much it would cost to order more than 30,000 LEGOs to construct his five-foot-square masterpiece. Brian won’t say how much he spent, just that it was costly. And it took him a long time. He started in April of 2006 and finished it in July 2009.
The LEGO Lucas Oil Stadium replica is on display this week on the third floor of the JW Marriott, media headquarters for Super Bowl XLVI. And it’s positioned in a perfect spot, with the real stadium visible in the background. The structure was on display at last summer’s Indiana State Fair. Fans will have to pay to see it at the JW Marriott — access today through Friday to the media floor where Radio Row is situated requires buying a $25 ticket.
Alano dedicated three years to the project and no detail was left out. There’s even a working TV screen and a crowd of Colts fans as well football players on the field. Crazy!
2012 Honda Ferris Bueller Super Bowl Commercial – “Matthew’s Day Off”

Oh, those sneaky Hollywood people. They had me going when I heard there was a rumor of a possible “Ferris Bueller” sequel. The beloved 80′s comedy staring Matthew Broderick and directed by the legendary John Hughes is a timeless dedication to the art of slacking off, something my generation knows all too well.
I knew since the passing of John Hughes a few years back that my dream of a “Ferris Bueller” sequel just wouldn’t happen. Thankfully, the folks at Honda decided to use their Super Bowl ad time wisely and dedicate a commercial for their new CR-V to the original “Ferris Bueller” movie.
Honda claims they have hid over two dozen references to the movie throughout the commercial. Some are obvious, some are VERY subtle. I’ve caught a few but I’m going to have to watch if a few times to see them all. Check out the extended version of the Official 2012 Honda CR-V Game Day Commercial – “Matthew’s Day Off”
Sh*t Girls Say During The Game
Shit Girls Say During The Game. You know how this is guys.
Our Tom Is An Awesome Tom Song Is Awesome

I think it’s only fitting that the media magnet of Tim Tebow is heading to New England for his next game because if there’s one team and fanbase that’s willing to knock the Tebow train down the ladder a bit, it’s the opinionated Pats fans.
Felger & Mazz have been getting ready for Tim Tebow’s arrival by starting off their show all week with “Awesome God”.
[via Musket Fire] With the “Our God is an awesome God” song being played on nearly every sports radio station because of Tim Tebow, the guys at 98.5 the SportsHub in Boston came up with their own version of the song, but with the words, “Our Tom is an awesome Tom.” They also changed the words to have a Patriots ring to it.
With only a day remaining till the game, this song should get you in the Patriots spirit.
Listen to the full three minute version here.
ESPN Officially The Tim Tebow Channel
Anyone who thought ESPN had a crush on Brett Favre is probably not watching the sports channel now that they have become overly obsessed with Tim Tebow. Here are a couple of stills from the channel formally known as ESPN showing their initial conversation to the Tebow style as they prepare the audience for a full hour of Tebow.
ESPN was reported by Deadspin to have churned out over 160 mentions of Tebow in just one hour of air time. Crazy! Then it just goes overboard, which is a crazy notion considering.
OK, not for everyone at ESPN I suppose. Turns out that Steven A. Smith might still have an issue with the Tebowization of ESPN.
Tim Tebows Fire, One Hit Wonder Updates 1985 Song To Make It About Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow is so popular now that he is even rewriting pop culture.
Singer John Parr apparently is a Bronco fan. The poor-mans Steve Windwood is in the headlines for remaking his old hit song to sing about his man love for Tim Tebow. I didn’t know that he dug the Tebow so much but since I have not heard his name mentioned since the 80′s it’s not that big of a shock.
Parr took to the music studio last fall to update his 1985 hit “St. Elmo’s Fire,” the theme song to the Brat Pack movie staring Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Rob Lowe and some other popular kids at the time. The new version, called “Tim Tebow’s Fire”, has been bouncing around and now the unofficially song is out for us to cherish.
I’m old enough to remember the original song and movie. I wasn’t terribly old at the time but the sad fact that the original song came out almost 25 years ago is soul crushing. At the time, Tim Tebow was -2 years old. The chosen one wasn’t even born yet!
The good news is that ESPN now has a new theme song as I heard they will officially be changing their name from ESPN to TEBOW-SPN.
I put the original “St. Elmo’s Fire” song at the bottom of the post in case you’re curious. For those younger folks in our crowd you’ll get a kick out of the horrible hair and clothing choices of the mid-80s. I mean, look at this hair!
“St. Elmo’s Fire” was not Parr’s best song, in my opinion. But it was wildly popular at the time thanks to the movie. For a real dose of the mullet at his greatness you’ll want to check out John Parr’s “Naughty, Naughty.” Epic.
Bama Superfan Is Biggest Tide Fan Ever

Saying you’re the biggest Alabama fan is quite a stretch. The Crimson Tide have one of the largest fanbases in the world but there is one guy who stands out above the rest.
Meet Bama Superfan who has decked out his Ford truck with an interesting menagerie of odd….things.
In honor of the LSU Tigers meeting the Tide for the BCS Championship on Monday night, Bama Superfan has decorated his truck with some special kitty related treats.
Check of the video of a redneck from Alabama who parks his Tide-inspired big-ass truck in front of a Wal-mart. You can’t make this stuff up. If you live in Alabama, it might not seem that unusual.
I mean, seriously, this might be a work of art that could get some Federal funding of some sort.
Dallas Cowboys, Giants in 2011 NFC East title game Taiwanese Style!

No one knows the NFL and the sport of American Football like the Taiwan CG-animators at NMA.
Next Media Animation is the quirky news channel loves to spit out short computer animation about pop culture and the NFL has happily made the cut a few times with their Michael Vick story and the NFL Lockout.
As the NFL playoff scenario came to a head last Sunday, the NFC East title was up for grabs between the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. You know who won by now but you haven’t seen it through the eyes of NMA. Here’s their preview of the game.
Check it out below to see how they predicted the game. I love these videos!
The New York Giants face the Dallas Cowboys at the Meadowlands on Sunday for the NFC East title and the opportunity to get their butts kicked in the playoffs by the Green Bay Packers or New Orleans Saints. Both the Cowboys and the Giants are 8-7, which means that the 2011 NFC East champion will have less than 10 wins for the first time since division play started in the NFL. The game pits Cowboys Tony Romo against Giants quarterback Eli Manning. Both QBs have piled up impressive stats over their careers, but Romo has a history of losing big games, while Manning was MVP of Super Bowl Super Bowl XLII when the New York Giants beat the previously undefeated New England Patriots in one of the biggest upsets of football history.
Who will win? Next Media Animation’s football analysts predict the ‘Boys will lose. The Cowboys always seem to find a way to lose when it counts, and Romo is battling an injury.
Denver Tebows Into Playoffs With Loss

Leave it to the Denver Broncos and Tim Tebow to lose a boring-ass game, not even scoring a touchdown, and then winning the AFC West division and getting the chance to host the 12-4 Pittsburgh Steelers at Denver in the first round of the playoffs.
If that sounds a bit unreal, just consider this years Broncos are essentially the 2011 version of the 2010 Seattle Seahawks who spent most of their season getting blown out but won their division with a stellar 7-9 record, the first time a losing team had done that.
But the Seahawks didn’t have Tebow and that counts for something I guess. Not lately, but in general the leadership of Tebow is what lifts his mediocre QB skills to another level.
While we digest this weekends games and the playoff scenario that was created, I can’t imagine the Tebow train going much further than the first Wild Card game. The Broncos have lost 3 straight as the excitement of Tebow has died down to a rather sober reality.
The Broncos have lost their last 3 by a combined score of 40-87. Ouch! And in their last game against the Chiefs, Tebow was ineffective as the Broncos and their troubles with turnovers kept their offense from scoring any TDs.
He now has 1 TD pass and 4 INT’s in his last three games as the 8-8 Broncos are slowly headed toward the playoffs and will host a team with 4 more wins on the season. It was an ugly way to get there but the last QB to do that was Jake Plummer way back in 2005.
Going 6 for 22 for 60 yards just isn’t going to cut it much in Denver. Stumbling and bumbling can only get you so far and it looks like the luck is running low in the Mile High City.
A winning attitude is one thing but when Willis McGahee stamps out 145 yards rushing and your team can’t move the ball into the redzone you know there are bigger issues at hand.
So while I would love an upset of Big Ben and the Steelers next week in Denver, I don’t think the Broncos are going to pull off a similar upset like the Seahawks did last year in the Wild Card round.
