Monday Morning NFL Gifs Finally Get Here

Ok, I know. It’s now Tuesday and I’m late. That happens as the holidays are getting busy now. So here we go with Monday Morning GIFs,…on a Tuesday.
Sigh…what’s next? No Cheerleader gallery? Hell no!
Broncos Halftime Show

As you know, Tebow played this weekend against the Pats. If you can get past the announcers talking about Tebow you would see this gem at halftime. The Denver Broncos had a monkey riding a dog! Seriously. This happened and it was, for me anyway, the highlight of the game.
Bradshaw’s Fantastic Catch

The Giants are now at that time of the year when their mistakes might cost them the playoffs. The ‘Skins thumped them hard on Sunday but now the Eagles and Cowboys are looking to slip ahead of the Giants who were once in the NFC East lead. But don’t tell Bradshaw, who makes this stellar catch.
Tom Brady Gets Crushed By Elvis Dumervil

Tom Brady has had an excellent game for the New England Patriots against the Denver Broncos, but this particular third quarter play was not his best highlight. Despite the fact that Elvis Dumervil was rushing Brady on his right side, Brady didn’t appear to see him. Then, he got absolutely crushed. [via SB Nation]
Big Guy TD Run

Red Bryant of the Seahawks takes a stroll into the endzone as the ‘Hawks route the Bears this weekend. I love to see the big guys roll like this!
Sneaky Panthers

What….? Check out the slight of hand as the Panthers slip past the Texans and Cam Newton slips the ball to the fullback between his legs.
Jackson High Fives the Ref

Vincent Jackson and the Chargers easily beat the Ravens which gave WR Vincent Jackson the excitement to high five the ref.
Romeo is Excited

Romeo takes over the Chiefs and gets his first win against the undefeated Packers. You can just tell it was a huge win by Romeo’s excitement level here. Yes, this is actually a GIF and not a still picture. You can even see him blink every now and then.
Aaron Curry Smash

Aaron Curry gave his team a big lift in the fourth quarter against the Detroit Lions. Curry picked up a Matt Stafford fumble and returned it six yards for a touchdown. And how did he celebrate?
He celebrated like anyone would: punching the padding on the goalpost. [via SB Nation]
Somehow, Johnny Knox Is Still Alive After This Hit
December 18, 2011 by Football Doctor

Somehow, and I don’t know how, Johnny Knox of the Chicago Bears is able to move his arms and legs after receiving a vicious hit Sunday in a game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Knox had fumbled the ball after a catch and then scrambled to recover his mistake when he ran head first into Seahawks defensive end Anthony Hargrove. The head-on collision made Knox’s head and upper back bend the wrong way and a cringing moment. Backs aren’t supposed to bend that way!
Knox fumbled on a third-down reception after he was stripped by Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor. During the scramble for the ball, Seahawks defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove delivered a crushing blow to Knox on the ground that replays showed bent back his upper torso.
The game was delayed for more than five minutes while Knox was tended to on the field by medical personnel. He was strapped to a hard board and placed on a cart. Knox was moving his arms and hands and his helmet was removed. [via Chicago Tribune]
Ouch! Just Ouch!
Knox is reported to have movement in his extremities which is a great thing since the hit made me instantly think that this guy was lucky to be moving anything at all. Here’s a gif of the injury via

Monday Morning NFL Gifs Get Tebow Mania
December 12, 2011 by Football Doctor

That Tim Tebow is some kind of warlock. He’s got all kinds of special voodoo magic he dusts off on Sunday and it’s contagious as now all the Broncos are making special plays.
It wasn’t Marion Barber’s night as he lost the game against the Denver Tebow’s with a bone-headed dive out of bounds to kill the clock and a fumble in OT as Tebow rolls to his 6th straight win.
It’s a fumble

For now, I will refer to the Marion Barber as Earnest Byner. It’s just easier that way.
All Hail Tebow

Tebow feels the rapture!! He didn’t get the field goal to win the game or fumble to turn the ball back over to himself, but he did win and that’s what counts.
I Picked The Wrong Week To Quit Smoking

Marion Barber just got Tebow-ed. Hard. Very hard and Timmy didn’t even have the common courtesy for a reach-a-round.
Locker Eaaaaaagggggglllleeee!!

Welcome to the NFL Jake Locker as the kid tries for a TD and meets a wall of flying Saints.
Dance, Dance, Dance

Cowboys and Giants in an epic match on Sunday Night! Reason enough to dance like it’s forbidden. Good God, Brandon Jacobs has some moves! [via]
And….flip!

The Raiders had no troubles with the Raiders this week to continue their awesome season. Plays like this are why Carson Palmer and Co. had such a huge problem as D.J. Smith picks him and then leaps over his lifeless carcass.
Brady : No Shit!

Baby needs his ba-ba. Tom Brady and offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien exchanged some pleasantries following an end zone interception thrown by the Patriots’ quarterback. [via SB Nation]
What Is On Tim Tebows Armband?
December 6, 2011 by Football Doctor
Filed under Capt. Gridiron, Top Stories
Despite his unorthodox style, Denver QB Tim Tebow has led the Denver Broncos from the cellar to the top spot in their division after being name the starter just over a month ago.
Since then the Broncos have won 6 of their last 7 and now 5 straight after another Tebow comeback Sunday in Minnesota.
Tebow is still learning how to be a passer in the NFL and relies on his running skills to keep his team in the game. He only has one game with over 200 passing yards (202 vs Minnesota) but he also has 10 TD’s and only 1 INT to compliment his wins so whatever he’s doing is working.
One thing that has always struck me, even when Tebow was in college at Florida, is that his running plays are so basic. After taking a look at Tim Tebow’s QB Armband I now know why that is.

NFL Monday Morning GIFs Reach For the Stars

It’s Tebow time! And that means it’s time for our regular feature called Monday Morning GIFs that we might change to Tim Tebow Presents : Monday Morning GIFs. With that in mind let’s check out our latest edition of GIFs. Or check out the Monday Morning GIFs Archive.
Guess who got a rushing TD ?!

Tim Tebow does what Tim Tebow does best. He rushes it up the middle for a TD near the endzone. Because, you know, he never does that.
Elway Approves

The Force is strong in this one. John Elway may not be ready to admit that Tebow is his franchise QB but he’s coming around. Elway joined the team in Minny and even visited the sideline during the final minutes of the game to get in on the Tebow action. C’mon man, smile. Your team is now winning again.
Cam Newton’s Eaaaaaggggglllllle

Cam Newton takes in one of his three rushing TD’s vs the Bucs on Sunday. And to make it special he gives us the great ‘Eaaaaaggggglllllle.’ Even though the Bucs are playing bad enough to wear the creamcicle jerseys, I do dig ‘em.
Cam Celebrates Record

And with that TD, Cam sets a QB rushing TD record with a month left in football action still.
Time to ice the kicker

Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett decides to ice his own kicker. Why? Who knows. I don’t think that’s a normal strategy and here’s why. First, you’re supposed to ice your opponents kicker.
Then his kicker made the first kick, before the time out, and then missed the second. And that thrust the game into OT, which the Cowboys lost. Ouch!
Warming Up

Oh yeah, here’s the reaction after the missed kick. I bet he doesn’t try to ice his own kicker again.
Only One Raider Showed up on Sunday

Darrius Heyward-Bey made a horrible day for the Raiders slightly better with this spectacular one-handed catch for a TD. It wasn’t near enough as the Raiders dropped to their knees in Miami and Denver won, which means the AFC West is now in the hands of Tebow.
Grossman is DOA

Sexy Rexy Grossman was killed in action Sunday. The field crew was able to scrape his remains out of a huge divot after the game and ceremonies will be held in his honor later in the week.
Not a bad Eaaaaaggggglllllle

Lardarius Webb of the Ravens, once the Browns, pins down the current Browns with a killer punt return. Nice move to get into the endzone.
Warming Up

Remember that Jason Garrett time out earlier? OK, this is why you don’t ice your own kicker besides the fact it’s the dumbest thing to do. I mean, it’s your own F-ing kicker! Anyways, the Cowboys and Cards went into OT until Stephens-Howling said it’s time to go home
Just Like those Old Rams

This is the type of play that got the Rams moved from L.A. to St. Louis. Keep it up, you might be back in SoCal before long.

It’s the day after and in the dust of the weekend games the Packers emerged still undefeated. At this rate that should hold out for awhile. With that in mind let’s check out our latest edition of GIFs. Or check out the Monday Morning GIFs Archive.
Warming Up

OK. Nothing special here. Just an NFL player warming up like normal. Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson has his own drill to get his hands loose prior to a game.
[via SB Nation]
Red Bryant Beast Mode

I love to see the big guys run with the ball. It’s the best part of the game. Here Red Bryant of the Seahawks gets his chance to shine and doesn’t disappoint with a few Beast Mode moves of his own!
[via SB Nation]
MJD Channels LeBron In Cleveland

Playing in Cleveland today, Maurice Jones-Drew of the Jacksonville Jaguars gave the hometown fans a little reminder of someone they would probably prefer to forget. After punching in the first touchdown of the game, Jones-Drew added this little twist to his end zone celebration in a very familiar fashion. [via SB Nation]
(mini) Eaaaaaggllllee

It’s a mini but it counts
RIP, NFL Ref Ron Winter

This has got to be a refs nightmare. A huge pile of huge dudes with pads come your way and then land on top of you. Ouch. NFL Ref Ron Winter will be seeing this play in his dreams for years to come
Howl at the Moon, Baby

I always thought the Ryan family was a big off and Rob shows why. I never thought about it but I’ve never seen the Ryan brothers play during a full moon.
Sorry Bills Fans

It’s time to come to the realization that the first part of the season for Buffalo was a fluke.
Cam Is Back

Cam is back from his offensive hibernation. Too bad it wasn’t enough to beat the Lions.
Ravens Torrey Smith Tackled By His Hair

Smith had three catches for 90 yards in the first half for the Ravens against the Bengals. But it looks like the Bengals have discovered his weakness.
[via SB Nation]
Cam’s Celebration Dance is Back

And with a Cam touchdown comes the Cam TD celebration we have missed over the last few weeks.
Nate Says Shut It Down

Nate Burleson makes a fantastic TD run and uses that opportunity to point out the Lions are the better team and tells Cam to lock it back up.
Monday Morning GIFs Hook Up With Cowboys Cheerleaders

Let’s get this started before another fight breaks out between the Bears and Lions. Or check out the Monday Morning GIFs Archive.
Baldwin Focuses For Nothing

A penalty on the Chiefs’ offense nullifies an amazing catch by WR Jonathan Baldwin. It’s actually one of the best catches I’ve seen in a long time as Baldwin focuses so well that he catches the ball…and a Bronco!
Another Shot

Another view of the Baldwin catch, you can see him trap the ball on the back of the Bronco defender and then take possession of the ball after they both fall.
Lloyd Shows You How Its Done

The Rams stunned the Browns, which isn’t hard lately, with a road win in Cleveland. This catch by WR Brandon Lloyd is one key reason. Since the Rams picked up receiver Brandon Lloyd from the Broncos in a trade, they have gone 2-2. Not bad for a team that started 0-6.
Speaking of great catches

When it comes to talking about concentration, no receiver is better at zeroing in on the ball for the catch than Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald. Unlike Baldwin’s catch, this one counts but it doesn’t count as a score as Fitz was down at the 1 despite the lunge.
More Examples of Fitzgerald’s greatness

Here is one of Fitzgerald getting the great catch and the TD! The Eagles tip the ball and all looks lost but that’s OK. It just clears out everyone to let Fitz focus, pull down the pass, and then waltz into the endzone.
Dez Gets It done

And not to be outdone, Dez Bryant of the Cowboys laser focuses on the ball to grab this TD.
Stafford Starts A Fight

Lots of great Bears/Lions GIFs today as the bruising matchup of division rivals didn’t disappoint. The Bears rolled over the Lions and gave QB Matthew “Corky” Stafford a headache with 4 INTs. This didn’t help the mood of Stafford who pulls down a defender blocking during an INT return. The cheap shot by Stafford on Bears DB D.J. Moore led to this retaliation and Moore’s ejection.
you mad, bro?

Despite the ejection for helping start a huge fight, D.J. Moore visibly has no regrets as he runs off the field.
Suh Really Hates Cutler
This isn’t the first cheap hit Suh has given Jay Cutler and it’s probably not the last. Suh gets that right arm in there to rip off Cutler’s helmet just for good measure.
Suh Has Taught Fairley Well

The good thing about having Suh as your mentor is that you learn the little things. Like beating the crap out of Cutler despite the score. Rookie Nick Fairley pile drives Cutler into the endzone after a pass.
Watson’s One Handed Grab

The Browns suck hard this year but were not totally out of it thanks to the stellar play of TE Ben Watson. This one-handed catch didn’t grab a TD but the Browns are just happy a pass got completed.
Well worth the money so far

CJ celebrates his 2nd TD of the year. Fantasy managers rejoice at the fact he’s done something, anything…
DeMarco Pinball

The Bills got steamrolled in Big D thanks to the 130+ yards rushing of rookie RB DeMarco Murray. I dig this TD run as Murray rolls over defenders, bounces off a few and still stays on his feet.
Steelers Topple Bengals

This is why the coach has you practice the tip drill. The Steelers D gave rookie Bengals QB Andy Dalton headaches all game long and Lawrence Timmons is the lucky recipient of this bouncing gem.
Bumble, bumble bumble

The Arkansas Razorbacks beat down the Tennessee Vols 49-7. This catch by Jarius Wright (#4) is pretty epic. He bobbles it and tips it around like a hot potato before finally bringing in the catch. Now if he can just teach the Vols how to catch a ball…

Monday Morning GIFs With Angry Brady
November 7, 2011 by Football Doctor
Filed under Capt. Gridiron, Top Stories
It was one of the best weekends in the NFL this year as almost every late game went down to the wire. The Giants and Pats had a Super Bowl rematch with similar results and Aaron Rodgers continues to dominate the stat sheet. It not only made for a great weekend of game but contributes nicely to our Monday Morning GIFs.
And the oscar goes to….
Redskins OT Trent Williams gets a unsportsmanlike conduct penalty when he shoves Niners DE Justin Smith from behind, knocking him over and causing a sideline spat between the tackle and coach Mike Shanahan.
Truth be told, Smith made it look real good.
Eeeeeek!!!
LOL….looks like Mark Sanchez is easily startled. Happens to little girls.
Brady Gets Pissed, Part 1
It was a tough game for Tom Brady. He let go of 2 INT’s to help the Giants beat the Pats in a rematch of their Super Bowl game and took this frustration out on a water bottle.
Here’s one reason he’s so pissed
Besides the INT’s, Brady also had a fumble. No lame Tuck Rule will save him on this one
Brady Gets Pissed, Part 2
Eaaaaaaagggggggglllle!!
LT gives the anemic Jets running game a boost with his very own Eagle!
Eaaaaaaaggggggggll….thump
Dustin Keller tries his own Eagle. He fails.
Pack Win Despite This
With Aaron Rodgers at the helm it doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to handle an onsides kick. Personally, I think it’s better to catch the ball instead of punching it.
Smith Sandwich
Alex Smith of the San Francisco 49ers is having a banner year and one of the best QBs this year. His efficiency has been stellar and the team has improved so much it’s hard to believe this is the type of hit Smith used to take on a daily basis.
Required Tebow GIF
As stated by NFL Tebow law, we are required to have one Tebow GIF. Here’s the big guy rushing about for a huge game in his first win this year as a starter.
Torrey Smith Fails
Torrey Smith of the Ravens almost single-handedly lost the game against the Steelers. His first play penalty called back a TD and this drop in the last seconds cost the Ravens a TD to take the lead.
And now, the Torrey Smith redemption
Despite all that mentioned above, the Ravens called Smith’s number again and the young pup got some redemption. Torrey makes a sweet catch here to give the Ravens that much needed win.

What happened? How much did I drink? More importantly, how much did Orlando Mare drink?
This Sunday was full of WTF’s as a slated of bad games turned into a crazy day as teams like Minnesota, St. Louis and Pittsburgh won solidly while Arizona and Miami almost won. Crazy day.
Monday Morning GIF’s [archives here] are back and ready for whatever Halloween has to offer.
This Is Why Thigpen Is A Backup
The gif in which Tyler Thigpen gets hit in the head with a football is sadly the highlight of Thigpen’s career.
Swinging Balls!
The Steelers Antonio Brown makes an interesting TD dance in Pitts win over the Pats. I think this dance will catch on.
Conk!
Have ever watched the Three Stooges and heard the guys bump heads and a loud coconut sound emits? That’s what I think of with this little melon crashing incident where 2 Steelers and a Pat ding their helmets.
Even though it was an accident, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will still fine injured James Harrison for the incident since it was a game with the Steelers.
Tebow Gets Covered With Tebowing
It was bound to happen but the Broncos and Tebow got their ass handed to them and the Lions had several opportunities to cash in on the Tebowing craze.
Mine! Mine!
Bills safety George Wilson tips a John Beck pass and makes a great interception in the fourth quarter. The Bills sacked John Beck 9 times (Yes, 9!) and intercepted him twice to ensure that Tim Tebow didn’t have the worst day in the league.
O Captain! My Captain!
It’s never wise to pick a fight. It’s even more questionable to pick one on the opposing teams bench. The Vikings Percy Harvin decides to fight Carolina Panthers defensive back Captain Munnerlyn on the Panthers bench.
The Colts still Suck
Nothing can go right for the Colts, not even a punt. In their loss to the Titans a routine punt ends up for the benefit for Tennessee with a block and an easy score.
I Love You Man
Um, guys…. Keep it in the locker room, please.
Free Ball, who wants it?
Tony Romo throws an INT. I know, odd isn’t it? This one is actually not his fault as the pass is to Martellus Bennett who bobbles the ball and deflects it perfectly to Nnamdi Asomugha for the interception.
Someone call the Wambulance
I can’t think of a bigger douchebag in any level of football than USC’s Lane Kiffin. Seriously, the guy just has that look even when he’s not crying like a baby. Here, he’s upset at the refs for a timeout issue or something. Who cares…he lost and that’s what counts.
Monday Morning GIFs Celebrate Tebow Time
October 24, 2011 by Football Doctor
Filed under Capt. Gridiron, Top Stories
Monday Morning GIF’s [archives here] are back and boy, do we feel sorry for the Colts. It was a shame that the entire team couldn’t make the game Sunday Night against the Saints and they instead used a middle school team to fill in.
Anyway, let’s get things started with a little Tim Tebow!
Tebow Time!
The Broncos sucked for 3.5 quarters. Then Tim Tebow woke up and led Denver to 15 points and an OT win against the Dolphins in the last few minutes of the 4th quarter. Tebow time is here, folks. Here’s the game tying TD.
But you need a 2-point conversion. Guess no one in Miami ever saw a Florida Gators game because anyone who thought that Tebow wouldn’t do this just doesn’t want to work as a Dolphins head coach anymore.
John Fox survives his first Tebow experience. Not pictured : Kyle Orton dipping chew on the sideline. Seriously. And it must have been sour because the look on his face at the end of the game wasn’t happy.
What?! No….I’m gonna tell Mom!
Even Derek Dooley’s Mom can’t help him out against ‘Bama. Nice 4th and 1 try there coach. Word of advice, try not to do it on your own 30 yard line against a top-ranked offense.
Saints Still Own The Colts
The Saints decided to go ahead and save everyone the trouble. They took the Colts to the back field and put them down with a blowout 62-7. The Colts are missing Peyton more and more each game no matter how awesome Painter’s mullet is.
Dez Does Dallas
More like, Dez Does Something….finally.
Eaaaaagggggglllllle !!!!
It’s been awhile since we’ve had an “Eagle!”
Welcome to Oaktown, Carson
Cali kid Carson Palmer returns to his home state to play his first game of the season after the Bengals pulled their head out of their ass and traded him to Oakland. Palmer ended up with 3 INT’s in a blowout loss and a few tough sacks.
Still, better than playing for the Bengals.
Juke, Juke, Juke of Earl
The Bears visited England to spread the happyness that is Jay Cutler to the masses over the Pond. Will Forte also made a sweet move here on his way to a big day as the Bears beat the Bucs 24-18 and Forte racked up 145 yards rushing and a TD.
The Bears win, which is good for Cutler and Mike Martz because I heard a rumor that Lovie was gonna leave them over there if they didn’t start playing nice with each other.
STFU Crybaby
On 4th-and-the-game, Philip Rivers tosses the ball out of bounds and then proceeds to complain to Coach about how it’s not his fault.
Norv gives the reaction I would here. “Whatever, dipshit…”
Eaaaaaaggllllleee—thump!!!
If Arian Foster can “Eagle,” why can’t Cam Newton. Because London Fletcher says ‘NO!’, that’s why!
Falcon Kick…to the Nuts
Congrats Brian Robison. You will now be receiving a personalized, autograph letter from the Commissioner. Please note, it will include an envelope where you can submit your check to pay for the fin of kicking TJ Lang in the nuts.
Highlights of the Seattle-Cleveland game
Yup. The Seattle-Cleveland game was this exciting. It was like watching two blind monkeys trying to throw poo at each other.
Triple Chest Bump!

OK. I lied. There was one highlight from the Seattle-Cleveland game. Red Bryant blocked a FG and did a little celebratory move her. It’s not counted, but the run by Red here is the longest any Seahawk had all day.
